In 1997, computer professionals serving various Fortune 100 firms pooled their expertise to form a professional services firm. Successfully providing expert consultants to various industries, in January 2000, Net District invested in network and internet infrasture to provide internet, web and application hosting services to their clients. Net District's data center is housed in Silicon Alley, Manhattan over Level 3's fiber backbone running DELL PowerEdge Servers. Peer to peer backup facilities are located in Nassau County, Long Island. By January 2001, Net District has expanded rapidly to meet the demands of clients grown accustomed to its technical expertise and the quality of its service.
